Medical conditions may include but are not limited to diabetes, hypothyroidism, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barretts esophagus, dysphagia, esophagitis, cirrhosis, prior abdominal surgeries or procedures, gastric polyps, varying autoimmune diseases, pain disorders, psychiatric diseases, neuromuscular disorders, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), or general ASA physical status classifications
